El Medano is a very attractive Canarian seaside town located on the south coast of Tenerife; about 16 kilometers from Playa de las Americas. Originally a small fishing village it has several beautiful sand beaches, pretty harbour area and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, and is the centre for all water sports on the island.
